Is the rail that the bezel rotates on (immediately surrounding the crystal) part of the case, or a separate part? I got a little scratch on mine on a blacksteel blackbird, and am wondering how difficult it will be to replace it.

Sorry for not clarify but this is no 5min no charge work that I ment to replay to

The bezel change is a different thing but that is clear in the first posts

Read the post again. The point made was it's necessary to remove the crystal to polish the chimney top.

Oops - beat me to it.

Evidently the crystal need not be removed to polish the chimney, but obviously it's not a quickie job like a bezel change. I wouldn't trust myself to do it.

Is the SOH bezel the same? I noticed in a bezel I almost bought (to change my all black SOH to a blue ring) there is 3 indents that looks like screw holes on the underside of the bezel and the 8 or so outer screws. I put a decent scratch in my SOH bezel and would love to get just an insert as it's only the insert that took the scratch but if a whole bezel in in need at least it was only $100 :)
