Sergio, why I can see your reasoning behind the saving from a "pre-owned Navi 01 LE", I wonder if the used market is really going to be all that flooded with this particular model. I attribute this one to the same rarity and appeal of the Cosmo DB. Yeah they come up every now and then, but they still bring decent money. Now follow that logic with an in-house movement, the display back, a 12 hour Navitimer layout (the iconic Breitling), smaller discounts at the initial time of purchase for most people... and I see it being a while before the used Navi 01 LE's are out there is mass quanities with any great discount.

I dont think the same logic will hold though for the regular Navitimer 01's, if and when they arrive. If you cant SEE the movement then it doesnt matter as much about the movement, to most people. IMO.

I don't think the market will be flooded with preowned Navi LEs, but as the next 'it' watch arrives someone will want to sell their Navi LE...no doubt. We'll see a few pop up here in the next 12 months I'm sure.

It's a no brainer for me as well and I 100% totally agree about waiting for one to hit the preowned market and save some cash. As bad as i want one now, I know i can save a ton and get a preowned one next year for a lot less. If the past is an indicator of the future, previous breitling le's have his the preowned market for similar discounted prices as standard models.

agreed...
