You know, I understand the clear Mechanical preference over Quartz even to a point that I couldn't convince myself for years to buy a quartz movement, but the honest truth is that the Breitling SuperQuartz is a completely different animal.

Not only are they exceptionally accurate and efficient, but aesthetically, the majority of the Professional line is incredible. Well designed, comfortable fits and wrist presence all in one battery powered package.

Thank you Breitling for being the only quartz movement watch that I will buy!

Airwolf, hands down. Very good looking, good functions, acceptable size. 100% :lingsrock:

I'd go with the B-1/Airwolf (they're so similar, but the B-1 has the edge slightly). Crazy accuracy, excellent functions, easy to use. Also has an EOL indicator. Not all SQ movements have this.

:yeahthat

I feel specialist watches aside (SeaWolf and Emergency) you, well I any way!, have to go for the entry level/bottom priced Colts. I actually love the COCS aspects of all the Breitling Quartz watches but the very low WR ratings of the AirWolf etc put me off a lot. I kind of felt one brush with water in the wrong way for such a expensive watch would cause problems and headaches for me. I very nearly had a new AirWolf bought as I actually want a SQ included in the few watches I have. So in the end I went with a Chrono Colt which is on the order.
For me the jump from a non-Chrono Colt to the Chrono was not a lot, IMO, the jump from CC to the AW was. That and the low WR maid my mind up.. 3000E is to much for a Quartz for me..

B1 or Airwolf has been on my short list, but never very high...

Airwolf! I would love to own one. I could consider the Chronospace or an Avenger Seawolf Chrono.

I would like to see Breitling bring back the B1's fighter bracelet for some other models. It's a terrific bracelet.

B1 would be the only one I'd consider. Just something about it I like - feels very purpose-built. Brings enough features to warrant going quartz while not trying to appear mechanical. I don't like quartz watches masquerading as mechanical.

I want a quartz watch to scream QUARTZ!
