I think the MSRP is around $100 more or so. But when I was thinking of getting one I was quoted about $1k more than a standard Avenger.

I just called Bari at Govberg and she said the head alone for the Code Yellow retails for $275 more than the standard Avenger.

Hmmmmmm, I prefer it with numerals myself. The batons aren't doing a lot for me on this one.

That's right, sorry about that. I knew it wasn't all that much though. I still couldn't get it for less than around $1000 more than the standard, but I guess that's the curse of an "LE".

I was actually very surprised how good the yellow code looked, and how different it looked live compared the pics or to my AS. Sometimes subttle details really make sustantial differences. I really like it. Though i still mis the black date window and metal coloured raised wings logo.

Can anyone confirm that the version with batons in fact ONLY comes with a brushed (ie non-polished) face and bezel?

My AD has this, but I would prefer it with a polished case!!

Thanks in advance

The case and bracelet are fully polished. Only the top of the bezel is brushed. Just about every polished Breitling follows this same design cue.

Hi, i have a few questions in regards to the limited edition code yellow... i have the chance to get one and im just debating on whether to pull the trigger. Do the Limited edition breitlings normally hold there value better? or go up in value in years to come? or no? it seems so since they're only making 1000 pieces.. im just trying to decide if i should get rid of one of my watches and pick up the code yellow. Or should i only buy it if i truly do love the way it looks and feels, and not necessarily because its a limited edition....

Possibly, but dont count on it.
