Id trade it for sure, but it sounds like your not so hot on the Rolex. If its not a watch that you can see yourself being happier with, dont do the deal.

-1! But I personally don't care for the look of the Rolex. I'd keep the SA and my cash.

you seem to be hesitant, thus the reason you're here for advice. we can all say yes, but if you're not feeling it then don't do it. going from 47mm to 43mm is a huge difference besides all the other pros the rolex has going for it.

44 mm. And it wears bigger than that

the DSSD does look like it wear much bigger than a conventional 44mm dial. like some have said if youre not feeling it dont do it. it would be a great trade for you though depending on how much money you have to throw in. the Rolex is something that you could grow old with. but an iced out SA looks awesome in my opinion.

I wouldn't trade, but then again I wouldn't have a diamond SA.

2 completely different watches saying 2 completely different things IMO. My 3/4 crazy neighbor who loses his house keys (which are on his car key chain), sleeps in his car (but can't get in his own house because he lost his key but it's on the same set of keys?!) and chopped his own door down because "locksmiths don't do anything" wears; even when sleeping a Rolex Submariner from the 70's. Is that the kind of association you are looking for? :nana:

That being said, if you're a Club/Event Promoter, keep the diamond SA. If your going for the sophisticated but not yet chopping your own door down with a 30 year old rusty axe, Rolex FTW!

If it has "Original Gas Escape Valve" written around the dial on the chapter ring, I wouldn't even try it on. Looks tacky and cheap IMO.

I just got rid of my 2 month old Super Avenger for the DSSD. I couldn't be happier. You will have to adjust to the size of the DSSD. The 43.5 mm is hard to get used to since the Sa is 48mm
