I was starting to think the my SOII was kind of small too after a few weeks of having it (and I also have a Skyland that I wear regularly), but over the past month or two its really seemed to come into its own and fit very nicely. I look at it sometimes and it just looks to be a very fitting size. Maybe ill flip-flop again in the future, but right now its lookin good.

I also have the SOII and an Avenger. When you compare the 2 the SOII is much smaller, but also is nowhere near as thick as the Avenger. I was originally worried that the SOII was not going to be big enough for me, but I wore it the entire week last week, and I really love this watch. I do see where I would have an issue with it if I had larger wrists, but mine are only 6.75" so it fits me very well.

I was about to put down a deposit on a Superocean over a SO Steelfish last week but I can not get the thought that it will probably be a discontinued model soon. That said I do prefer the SO over the SOII but I feel it is not really "Breilting" as I know them. Obviously this probably comes from the fact that it is a new model and maybe in a few years this style is going to be "Breitling" then.
I would really love the current SOII model which would last several years but I can not come around to paying several K euros for Colored dials and rubber bezels!!!!

Steelfish here I come I think!!!

I greatly prefer the SO II, it is smaller, but being a sporty watch and using it for it's intended function, I appreciate that.

I agree with everyone who is commenting on the small size. When I first saw pictures of the SOII online I thought it would instantly be Breitling #6 for me but when I tried it on at the AD, taking off my B4B GMT that I wore in, the SOII really looked like a little kids' watch.

To add insult to injury, my fiance tried on the "abyss" (black/black) SOII and it even looked tiny on her wrist compared to her daily "beater" Chanel J-12.

... said before but I'll say it again... if this was 44+ then I would be all over it in black/grey. For now my SOHC fufills my need for a "bigger" ling diver :lingsrock:

Go for the SO I or the steelfish!

A local dealer just got a few of the other colors in and I saw them yesterday. I really thought I would like the silver or yellow, but the more I handle them, the less I like them - especially for that kind of money. It's just a bit too cheap and gimicky looking at that size. If it were another 4-6 millimeters bigger and had a bigger face, I'd probably get one as I'm in the market for a casual dive watch - but at that price point, I think you can get much better (and much more functional) time pieces.
