when i was younger i once thought i'd never be able to afford something like a breitling.

make a little sacrifice... either save a little more, spend a little less, or work hard... in fact, do all three and you will be able to buy one within a year.

My work ethic has allowed me to take certain risks that proved to be rewarding. That's always a good route.

^^^ Same here!

I have 4 Breitlings at the moment and a Panerai on the way. I'm don't have much in the way of hobbies that cost money and I'm not big into cars and thats what I go by when comparing or explaining how I've come to spend that kind of money on a watch.

If I was into cars I would like a nice shiny one just like my watches and cars that I like seem to cost at least £25000 and upwards. To my mind I can buy 5 great watches for that! :D :D :D

Cheers

Thanks for the advice; I agree with you that anyone with a decent job can buy a nice watch in a year and that is my goal.

I just want to point out that I'm not whining or self-pitying. I will achieve my goal of owning a Breitling; my previous post in this thread was merely pointing out that I haven't yet. And there are likely more forum members like me as well, who don't own a Breitling.

Peace

Mike

yep, keep up with that good attitude man. You'll get there!

I dreamt of owning a Breitling just a year ago and I have 2 now. anything is possible if you put your mind to it.
