That looks aftermarket to me. Look at the original model. A1335653/C647 should be on the warranty certificate.

Lets face it..Even experts can be fooled every now and again by some of the fakes out there. Its only AD and new peices for me, unless it was something I had to buy second hand.

No wanting to hijack this thread, but I have very similar questions about this watch on ebay right now.

The way I would work this is seller would have to take this watch for an overhaul at the local AD, and if it comes back good then I have no worries about it.

Questions I have are;
What serial/model numbers should I look for?
Will the local AD be able to confirm for me the if the bezel is original and;
What would be a fair price for this watch?
What other watchouts are there for me?

Thx in advance.
Darren

That's definitely aftermarket - OEM bezels don't have diamonds on the side.

For a really feel good feeling about that auction, the instruction manual is for a Crosswind Special instead of a Chronomat Evolution. That's a bonus to go along with the very obvious aftermarket bezel. Once again, compare it to the photograph of my slate dial/black subs A1335653/F517 shown on the first page of this thread.
Best,
Ron

Well I returned the Breitling with the aftermarket bezel and bought a A1335653/A569 (no diamonds on dial). He says he has the all papers, chronometer, warranty certificate and diamond certificate. The model checks out. I will post when I receive to make 100% sure. Hopefully I won't get taken for a ride this time!

You will LOVE the A569 MOP dial! I came very close to getting that very same watch instead of my F517 slate dial/black subs. I actually prefer it over the A570 diamond marker MOP dial. Looking forward to pics and your thoughts when you receive it... :!:
Best,
Ron

I got in my new evolution with diamond dial. This one came with all original Tourneau paperwork and the warranty card has the correct serial # to reflect factory diamond. The diamonds definately look better. I guess it is a lesson that you need to check the warranty card and/or diamond certificate if you want factory diamonds and if they don't have it you need to take it to an authorized dealer. See the photo below. Diamonds look nicer to me but im not an expert. Thank you Ron for your great photos and advice. I hope you like this new one.
