wow, cool. i've been swimming a long time. i dont think i'd have a problem taking my SO into the chlorine and certainly not salt water, isnt it made for that? that being said, i do know the damage salt can do over time to a boat, etc. and for my sunglasses, im always afraid of the chlorine delaminating them. so, i have a rule to rinse things after swimming either kind of water. especially salt, i try tot to touch until i get a fresh water rinse, otherwise its like sand paper. then a mild dish detergent and dry with soft cloth. i also have an olympus waterproof camera that i treat the same way.

I have no problem at all swimming with my watches (the ones made for that kind of action) and then rinsing them afterwards.

I dont particularly like the feeling of a watch on when im swimming, but I do it anyway just because I feel like its a shame to not use these watches as they were intended. I know its weird, but thats just the way it is :D

I've got no problem with it at all. I usually take something like my PO or my B&R away with me, if I'm going somewhere I'll be swimming. Any dive watch on either bracelet or rubber, just rinse it off afterwards and it's all good.

My AD mentioned to me recently that I should be getting pressure tests every 12 months if I'm going to do that sort of thing.
