Isn't it funny how we can get motivation or good feelings from certain things we have? One of the reasons or rationale I had when I bought my Breitling was something to keep me positively motivated or proud whenever I looked down at that great watch. Not that it made me feel like someone who had money (cause I sure don't) but it's nice to have something that gives you a little "CLASS". I've always found that in my watches. CRAZY HUH!

[quote="T-MAN"] One of the reasons or rationale I had when I bought my Breitling was something to keep me positively motivated or proud whenever I looked down at that great watch.

I can totally relate to that. Especially when I look at it and it is so obvious how well it is made. I have been looking at literally every make of timepiece since last September. I thought I would replace my 1997 SuperOcean, but kept it anyhow. After all the research, I came back to the Breitling. Now that I have the Steelfish, it even grows on me more each day. I just love the detailing of the dial, with the sparkling silver numbers 12, 6, 9 and the silver surrounding the aperture at 3 o'clock where the date is. That silver surround even matches the numerals and the silver surrounding the luminous circles at 1,2 4,5,7,8, 10 and 11. The front of the bezel is combo of polished/brushed, the top of the bracelet is brushed and the sides polished. The sparkle in even the brushed stainless is just right, and the PRO II bracelet overall is even better than I imagined. On the Steelfish the interlock is 22mm , and the bracelet looks amazingly solid and heavy. Dollar-wise it is my most expensive single possession, and emotionally-wise my most valued. I could probably do a very successful unrehearsed commercial for this timepiece! To me the quality and value outshine the other makes. And the Breitling Caliber 17 movement is so reliable. I could go on and on.
Cheers,
Carl

Agreed...you gotta have a good watch to have a good time...

I'm a proud new owner of a Steelfish as well...and I couldn't agree more.

Congrats,
Chris
