Yes, the girl is definitely a keeper. From now until Christmas, I'm going to start dropping hints about wanting an airplane to go with my watch :). Anyway, here are my overdue pictures. My digital SLR is at home, so I had to settle for the crappy camera we have at my work. I suppose they're better than nothing though. I still can't believe this thing is actually on my wrist . . .

beautiful watch. I was thinking of picking up one myself with a gray face. My fiancee also surprised me about to months ago with a Navitimer World couldn't believe it at first either. Went ahead and bought her a ring and necklace she wanted with the money I had saved up to get my Breitling. I had to show her how much I appreciated the gift. Anyways enjoy the watch congratulations!

Awesome dial color. I like the metallic looking square too.

Great dial choice, it has a few different facets according to the light :lingsrock:

The pics (although good) don't do the watch justice. The watch has serious room presence!

Congrats and enjoy your step into Lingland! You have been spoiled!

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. I know how incredibly special this watch is, so it's something I'll always treasure.

The dial is a little more intricate than the standard Chronomat. It has a silver square in the center, with "grating" where the square overlaps the totalizers and second dial. Also, the hour hand and hour markers are slightly changed as well. The most noticeable difference is probably the polished bezel. Although the color of my dial is Sierra Silver, the actual color is more off white than silver, but it's gorgeous nonetheless.

nice watch...the bezel here looks alot more understated than the catalog photos (which was a real turnoff for me).

In Breitling's marketing material for the B01, the bezel does look pretty outrageous. I would attribute this to their photographer's use of lighting/shadows. Fortunately, I think it's much more understated in real life. Granted, it's more flashy than the standard Chronomat, but the B01 bezel is definitely growing on me.

My understanding is that there are only a handful of retailers in the US that have access to the B01 right now. It's national release will occur in the coming months, so you should definitely go into your local retailer and check it out when it arrives. I'm not sure what's so special about the retailer in Seattle (where my B01 came from), but apparently Breitling held a huge North American release party for the B01 here back in July. The store only initially received 3 B01's, but has since received a few more. Their current inventory is 3, at least it was when I was there last week.

I remember reading the posts about the BO1 when the first pics came out! Amazing how opinions change. I'm definately going to try and get one, I have always thought it was a great looking watch. An AD in my area should be getting one or 2 in shortly, they are going to call me when it comes in. Bozman52 that watch is sweet ass sweet!! Great pickup and congrats!!!

I didn't think I said that ALL people's minds changed. Let me read my post and see.....nope!! I was simply implying that most people don't like drastic change, such as the change with the Cronomat. The Majority of humans....not ALL are creatures of habit! Sometimes it takes a while for people to warm up to something new. Kinda like when a girlfriend or wife comes home with a toatally different hair style.....it could be traumatic!!

I don't think I suggested that you did say that.

Let me read my post and see........nope!!

I simply said that not everyone thought differently and used myself as an example.
