I try to share 2 everyday watches. My SOHC on 'low impact' days (office, leisure), otherwise my Oris TT3 for everything else e.g. rufty-tufty, dirty, bikey stuff, etc days. My vintage Breitling 815 not being either waterproof or automatic, i have to admit rarely sees the light of day, but is the most special watch of the three to me and so I treasure its beauty.

I took the advice from my AD when I was last in there getting my Pro II on my SA. He told me look man dont worry about the everyday scratches on your watch, just wear it enjoy it and do a normal service in 3 years and youll be fine. So now I just wear switch between my SA and Evolution thru out the week. I babied them at first but I get more pleasure wearing them carefree.... Well not totally care free but you get my point.

I recently acquired a Colt Quartz on Diver Pro and while I don't wear it every day, it has quickly become my most-worn watch. It's very light (relatively) and the diver pro is just incredibly comfortable. Plus, being superquartz, heavily water resistant, and mostly (well at least half) brushed, I never really have to worry about it in any respect. Most importantly, of course, I really love the way it looks.

Sometime soon I will have a post up about the Colt and a few of his friends that have recently made their way into my possession.

I rotate among my 3 lings, unless I'm doing some nastier work, then I wear my G-Shock.

I wear jeans and a t-shirt to work every day. Except when it is warm and I wear shorts. Or when it is cold and I wear a hoodie.

Alternate Superocean Professional - black dial and titanium Seawolf - yellow dial. Two tough customers.

Have one Breitling at present, just acquired, a beautiful SS/Gold Headwind w/rare gold dial -

Looking for a Breitling chronograph, and I believe I have it narrowed down to an Evolution or Chrono SuperOcean.

I wear the 6.75 to work, and sometimes the SA BS. But on the weekends it is always the SA BS.

I wear my Colt Automatic every day. However I'm already thinking of another watch, just because I'm greedy. It may work best if I buy my wife a new watch first, then she can't say anything about my extravagance! I'm leaning towards a Navitmer, though I'm sure if I got one I'd be wearing that a fair amount too.

I only wear my Navi at weekends, I really look forward to Saturday it's a real treat! My Navi has stil got that special watch feel good factor :lingsrock:

If i had another Breitling then I would wear one everyday providing it had a bracelet and not a Croc strap. I think leather with the white stitching would get very grubby if worn every day?

Hi

The watch I wear for work, which involves anything from doind accounts on a pc to loading trucks with flightcases and sharp pointy heavy things is my B1...it's indestructable. 7 years old now, shows a little wear but it was bought to be worn.

My every day wearer has gone from a Planet Ocean to my new B1. I can't take it off my wrist, it really is that good

Cheers

My wife, however, told me that we paid big bucks for the watch so that I could enjoy it, not so it could sit in a box in a drawer.

I completely agree with your wife. I tell the same thing to my wife about her David Yurman jewelry. If it's just going to sit in the box and never be used, don't buy it and you're in the exact same boat ;). Honestly, I can see how people can view it either way. Some think "it costs so much, it should only come out on special occasions". Other's think "it costs so much, so I should get as much use as possible". I think the second way.

I wear as others do on this site in that I alternate each day but I do tend to wear my leather strapped watchs ( Datora/MontBlanc) less frequently to try and avoid damaging the straps. I also put a rubber strap on my SA at times when I know I am going to be doing some water activities (swimming/sking/Etc). Am considering purchasing a lessor expensive watch on a rubber strap for specific outdoor activities but just haven't found the "right" watch for me yet.

I was able to pick up a Hercules in very good condition a few months ago, that's my daily watch. Brushed metal, good size. A lot of watch for the money in my opinion.

That said...I'm looking to add a SA in the mix here soon.

Yes, although it may not be for everybody, my Airwolf is my daily wearer and for flying. That's what I bought it for.

Chronomat is for dressing up with the TT bracelet, or country-club look on the croc strap.

Family heirloom vintage Omega is for major life and family events.

G-Shock for sports and rough wear

Polar heart rate monitor for exercising
