I actually saw the BB recently at an ADs while in Vegas a few months back.

Awesome – nothing does black-on-black like a Blackbird! I usually stipulate contrasting subdials for a classic chrono design, but I’ve always loved the Blackbirds which with the bracelet are really something special.

I put the Blackbird in the same category as the old 1806 and the Bentley GT – beautifully balanced designs. Such designs can be contrasted to rather hideous models like burgundy dialled Chronomats with giant applied Roman numerals and the ever vile Flying-B.

You’ve got a watch that will never go out of style and one which is widely admired by Breitling fans.
