It certainly won't be housing a B01 as far as the current version goes. If they release another SA Blacksteel sometime in the future then maybe, but the current model is B13 equiped.

I have had my BS for several months and it's very durable.

I just figured if I really damaged the case they could just replace the part. Not cheap but certainly possible.

The real problem for me with the watch is the band. That big watch and the rubber band with the buckle is a real pain to get on and off. They need the deployent clasp like in the ocean racer strap in Black Steel.

The problem with deployant (and with a bracelet) is that DLC wears DLC so that's why they went with a tang.
