Going vintage: very early 1806. Case dates to 1968 and no hyphen in the "Chronomatic"

Hunting what?

White tail deer. Expanded archery started last Saturday, and allows the hunters more time in the Maine woods overall. It's good, because bow hunting is freaking hard!
Beautiful Chronomatic btw!

Sounds very cool. Where I live I've never hunted except going deep sea spear fishing. This sort of thing (pic's not mine)

You mean the shirt ??
:D

I'm not sure she would ever let me sell this watch !!!
Apart from taking pics for 10 minutes with the NATO strap , Today was the first time I've got to wear it .
I got home 20 minutes ago .... It's no longer on my wrist !!! :D

It's surprisingly good in the flesh .
Far better than I expected .
And FAR FAR FAR better than any picture I can take , or any picture I have seen online .
With the subtle polished and brushed parts around the not-so-subtle orange dial (that in itself is a masterpiece when scrutinized) It's "alive" on your wrist .
and pictures can't seem to capture that .

I can't help you with this one , however I STRONGLY recommend you search one out to buy if your the slightest admirer .
You will not be disappointed .....

I know you have mentioned before about liking the yellow version too , and although I have never seen one of them in the flesh and I'm sure it's a really nice watch . The orange dial is JUST different enough to make it the better option IMHO ...

Breitling have made a few yellow faced watches , and I like them all , but the orange is a little bit more special , and more of a statement ;)

I have an "original" yellow faced titanium avenger , and to me that is the yellow watch that breitling made perfect .
It's a non-chrono version , and that makes the dial stand out more just like the orange one does .
However it takes "easily readable" tool watch to the extreme !!!
It looks so basic , yet passes the closest scrutiny for quality and design .

EDIT :

Bad picture added :)
