Not a good start in Europe (France)
"Unfortunately, access to this particular item has been blocked due to legal restrictions in some countries. We are blocking your viewing in an effort to prevent restricted items from being displayed. Regrettably, in some cases, we may prevent users from accessing items that are not within the scope of said restrictions because of limitations of existing technology. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause, and we hope you may find other items of interest on eBay."

So, only US users can see pictures

It is possible to make a new thread in replica/watch or to put them here please?

It sure did look like it. Silver band, white face, the back said Breitling for Bentley Motors, nice large box with smaller box inside (no papers). It seemed heavy and durable. From what I saw in the pictures and what I saw in person, I would say it's the same watch.

Isn't that the new style bentley box? The bracelet is the older style.

Pictures show up on UK site.

jjalcede, just curious, you say the watch never came with box and papers, did you question the seller as to the whearabouts of these?
If I were to shell out £2500+ on a watch over the internet I know I would have done my utmost to ensure it was the real deal, especially if the seller only had 3 feedback and if it didn't come with papers I would want to know why.

Just to be clear, I only stated it didn't come with papers.

It is embarrassing to admit that we have more money than sense. Of course there was a red flag with his lack of business (he only had 1 feedback at the time of the purchase) but I saw a watch that Gordon Ramsay was wearing and liked it so started doing some searches online and found quite a few we were interested in and this one was beautiful. From what I could tell online it appears to be worth about 8-9k and the price was right. I bought this watch within 10 days of even hearing the word Breitling. When it arrived I did ask the seller why no papers.

I have made my views known, but let's make something perfectly clear - this is a dispute about a watch! NO ONE SHOULD BE MAKING ANY INFERENCES OR LEAVING NEGATIVE FEEDBACK ABOUT THE UNRELATED BUSINESS THEY OWN OR OPERATE. CHRIST, LET IT BEGIN AND END WHERE IT BELONGS - A DISPUTE OVER A WATCH.

Good question. Here was his response.

Based on the facts presented, I have to admit that there are some discrepancies to this story.

1) OP states that he bought the watch direct from an AD: " Keep in mind this a watch that I purchased from an AD in Salt Lake City" but the eBay message seems to contradict this, implying it was bought privately rather from an AD.

2) Who is this Danny Young?

3) OP also claims to have never received the package yet this thread clearly contradicts those claims.

Finally, I don't know either party involved and this is merely just my opinion.
But OP states he was flipping the watch because the silver dial didn't sing to him.

Checking out the feedback of utahswatchman and his previous ebay listings. They all seem generic and business-orientated as opposed to an individual selling a watch that no longer sung to him, if you know what I mean. Note, uses the term "we" in the listings.

Anyways, what do I know.

To the OP:
1. Was the watch purchased new from an AD as indicated in the original post?
2. If so, why were there no papers?
3. Why is there an email stating you bought the watch from a guy who didn't have the papers anymore?
4. Was the watch you received back the same watch pictured in the ebay listing?
5. Who is Danny Young?
6. Why did you send an email referring to your address in Provo as "a random address?"

I think these are fair questions based upon what has been raised tonight.

TO THE ENTIRE FORUM
I am neither admin or a moderator as you all know, but again THIS IS ABOUT A WATCH. Based on the info at hand as of yesterday, serious concerns existed about the buyers story. Leaving warnings and reaching conclusions based on evaluation of the respective stoires on a watch forum is fair game and fair play. It is not libel and a first year law student can tell you that. I know we all, me included, despise scammers. They are a scourge to us. A good deal of time is spent on this forum outing scammers on ebay and elsewhere. Watches are a passion for us and trying to keep the field clean is a noble pursuit.

BUT when anyone takes that to impugning a persons unrelated business enterprise, you are stepping into dangerous territory. It can be libel per se sustainable without proof of damages. Do NOT contact these folks. Do not leave feedback about their business or integrity in their business. Do not leave internet posts in watch or non-watch venues suggesting their business is dishonest.

We are a watch forum.

THINK!! FRIGGING THINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All questions that I want answers to as well.

Your advice to the forum is sound... perhaps you should give the same advice on the watchuseek forum where you started a thread about Jeremy a day ago. And while you're at it watchnet.com too.

This is infuriating. You seem to be the one that speaks words of wisdom but you really are the one poking the hornets nest with a stick. I hope you feel foolish when your precious Justin/Danny/J Fernandez doesn't have answers for all of his lies.

Totally agree.
Despite my earlier comment, which was definitely meant to be more half hearted than with malice.
I think to leave negative feedback that may or may not impact a business without knowing the true facts is not helpful to either party involved.
