I'll try to get a few pics up tonight. They did tell me it was a very original/differant piece, but then again i'm such a sucker for Breits they could have told me it was made by elves and I would have bought it.

I heard they ARE made by elves, in the land of Nimtoopah where the grass is blue and cows moo backwards. What....., are you saying that's NOT true????

Yes Roff, xx/150 on the back, as well as inscribed "limited edition" in italics

They did not do xx/50 for blue and xx/100 for black, they did the whole set as xx/150. I believe little switzerland may have had them done exclusivley for them? (but I could be wrong about that I suppose).

That's the way they ususally do it - the Le Mans for example was xxxx/1000 even though it was 250 of each. It may well be that Little Switzerland commissioned them, that's effectively the same process that we are potentially going through with Breitling.

I guess I've been remiss in my duties on this for a few weeks, I'll try and dig a few more out, but in the meantime, and speaking of Le Mans (thanks to some responses to another thread last week)......

Bentley Le Mans Yellow Gold - 24

With thanks to a member on here, below is a link to another forum with some LE Diamond Works pieces. Not my cup of tea, but there you go. Rather than relisting, thought I would give credit to the person who dug them up -

"Dug up" is the right phrase..... to which I'd add it's a shame they didn't leave them in the ground! Hideous.

I think the 6.75 with the mother of pearl dial would look nice on a steel bracelet. has anyone ever seen anybody wearing any of the diamond works models? I always see them at ADs and always wondered if they ever sold.

This thread is growing too big to comprehend... is this brushed Headwind, limited to 100, listed in here?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0286230609

Looks really nice, if I only had the money... ;)

Don't think so - I don't recall it. I'll try and find the time to consolidate everything, although I know admin was also building a list.

Before this craziness started I did warn the OP that it was a difficult task

Very true, but I (grudgingly  ) have to admit you've done a sterling job pulling this together Roff.
