I seem to have lost my appetite for large watches and will probably sell my minty newish looking blue Super Avenger. I think it has to do with wearing my watches right at the bottom of my wrist close to my hand, and not liking the proportion of the size of the watch compared to my hand. My wrist is 7.5" and my forearm and upper arm still show signs of the many years I spent in the gym at a younger age, so I easily fit in the range of most people who wear large watches... but it's just not working for me now. The hard part is I really do like it, and it's an awesome chunk of steel to hold in the hand, but I think my Blackbird looks so much better on the wrist.

So anyone else fall out of love with large Breitlings? I guess the positive side to this is many more watches fall in the range of what I now prefer.

Been there, done that. Youll be back. Then the cycle will continue.

Yes, even having said that if I could snap my fingers and make my BB a black 6.75 I'd probably do it. :lingsrock:

I guess the secret is to buy more watches; keep the bigger ones and add smaller ones to the stable for when you feel like it. :lingsrock:

exactly why i went with the colt gmt. i have small wrists and the big watches look too garish in my opinion, on my arm.

my next watch will be something along the lines of the roley submariner for the same reasons.

Ok, maybe I'm back thanks to a Jackass! :D

Last night was a bad night, and I was so stressed I was ready to beat on my computer. But instead of doing that, I seen Jackass II was on so thought it a better idea to watch them beat on each other. Anyway, one of the guys was wearing a SA, and think it might have even been blue like mine. He was a thin dude and I thought the watch still looked good, and got me thinking do I really want to sell this thing. :lingsrock:

A Blackbird on a 7.5" wrist is definitely not too small, but everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Could not agree with you more! I had to move a Skyland because of a wrist/nerve problem and got a BB in it's place. My wrist is the same as roman and I think it fits perfectly. I have no regrets about the move, many about not having the Skyland anymore. Think twice before you move your watch, I miss mine even though I could not wear it for very long.
Best health, Frank

Here is my shot.

Don't do it. Although I don't think the BB will be too small, keep the SA. I find mine the one that fits my personality the most - big, thick, and not too complicated.

Now you're just being a "jackass"! It's funny you should choose that picture because I've been thinking the SA on rubber sure would look good next Summer going to the gym to ride the bike... and letting the chrono run for fun. :lingsrock:

The Blackbird is a perfect size, the Super Avenger looks ridiculous on most people with a wrist size under 8" so IMHO your doing the right thing.

No, it doesn't..unless you're looking at a 5.5" wrist.

The Blackbird looks worse on a large wrist than an Avenger on a medium wrist.

Case closed.

Well that's your opinion, and you are fully entitled to it, but that's all it is and everyone is entitled to their own opinion even if it differs to yours.

No one hammered you for your opinion that the US price increase wasn't confirmed so no reason not to be just as accepting of otherpeople's opinions. One of the greatest things about this site is the acceptance that people can have different opinions to our own.
