Hi,
I am planning a purchase and would be very grateful if any cockpit owners would post some pics.

i am particularly looking for some pics on a rubber strap to see if it works, i would maybe want to use one for summer/getting wet. has anyone tried this?

thanks in advance.

Not on rubber (although the pilot is pretty waterproof  ), and this is before they changed it by plonking a great big square in the middle.

His and hers.

thanks roff, i also much prefer the older dial.

the pilot bracelet seems like a logical choice but its too much shiny metal for me. the more subtle look of a strap is more up my street.

Pic of my new-dial Cockpit on a black calf strap.

Personally, I think the new dial is very good looking. The square, in most pictures, stands out but in real life I think it adds just a little visual interest. I will say that the combination of the square and the roman numerals at 6 and 9 "shrink" the dial a bit.

Good luck with your hunt!

I read on another forum that the Cockpit and Chrono Cockpit models were being discontinued. Is this incorrect? The only reason I give it any thought is because my AD has zero of either one.

MAYBE BOTH WILL C0-EXIST GLAD THEY UPDATED THE BEZEL ON GALACTIC IS LIGHT YEARS AHEAD OF THE OLD RIDER TABS...........

So does this mean we should expect larger discounts on the old (Windrider) Cockpit? Has everyone else found that they're getting more and more scarce at ADs?

I haven't checked the price list to see base retail price for the Galactic 41. Any info in that regard?

Unlikely to impact discounts for now. If ADs have one or two left in a year to eighteen months then you may start seeing heavier discounts.
