I used to have an ASBS with the DP rubber, and now I have a SOH with the OR rubber...

I find that the OR rubber band is much better than the DP. biggest reason? It "breaths" better.

I mean both get all sweaty in the summer heat but the OR band "cools down" much faster...

The OR band looks much cooler as well :D

I have both (and soon I will have the DP II). I prefer the OR due to the deployant clasp. The one thing I do not like about the OR is the adjustment is final. Also, I think each watch is different with respect for the bracelet. I do know the yellow Seawolf looks best on the OR. I will let you know about the DP II as soon as I get it.

i put my ASBS on an ocean racer and love it. and my emergency on a diver pro, the OR is much more comfortable but the breitling on the diver pro is cool.

I also prefer the OR over the Diver Pro, much thanks to the deployant but I also like the overall design much better. Not a huge fan of the "Breitling" text on the Diver Pro.

Maybe it's the holes that cool you down a bit? :)

Agreed. Those holes keep it cool. Great overall design :lingsrock:

I fitted a Diver Pro on my Colt II after wearing it on a Pro II bracelet since it was new. I really enjoyed the way it wore. I thought the Colt may feel unbalanced on the lighter DP strap but those fears were unfounded. The only negative comment about the Diver Pro strap from me would be how easily the polished tang buckle would mark - even just driving a desk.

I have an Ocean Racer on my Steelfish and could not be happier. I had the AD brush the "top" surface of the clasp while leaving the sides polished - to match the Steelfish. The marks on the clasp are consequently very difficult to see :D I love the way the Ocean Racer grips my wrist and, like other have posted, feel that it "breathes" better than the Diver Pro strap. The holes in the strap compliment the Steelfish's circular hour markers too.

I've fortunately not had any problems with the deployment clasp adjusting of its own accord.
