Hi All

Went to RIAT today and ventured into the Breitling enclosure, met with Andrew Michaels and purchased the Emergency with Coral face (also ordered the Diver pro Bracelet) So so happy with it - the chap from Breitling took me through it and I left very happy - unfortunately I wasn't given/forgot to ask for the warranty card - though suspect this isn't a problem with Andrew Michaels.

I have to say he was incredibly friendly, not pushy in any way and I'd highly recommend him or any of his staff to anyone.

Just got to get hold of the warranty card now - he'll have a record of what he sold me won't he??!!

So how was the air show? We're heading over tomorrow

The show was fantastic - though i've nothing to really compare it to though as it was my first airshow since going to St Athan as a child.

Went and had a drink in the Breitling owners tent sporting my new watch and laughed as we saw a chap being turned away after the door staff spotted a fake watch on his wrist!

I'm sure everyone has said this but set off early - we got to J10 of the M4 at about 7.45am, took about 50 mins to get to J15 and then hit traffic - didn't get parked and into the show until 11am!

If you are walking the runway away from the main display runway - keep an eye on the schedule as it's impossible to hear the announcements - we turned around to see the Red Arrows had already started.

The Vulcan display was immense. I'll get some pics on here later.

Congrats on the new watch! The Breitling enclosure was just fantastic. I met the Red Arrows and the team leader before their display, and saw them again a few hours later when they came back for a few drinks.

The Breitling technician was very nice, too. I had a good chat with him. He works in their repairs/servicing department. He explained a little about the working B13 movement that was on display for everyone to see. Very interesting!

After the hype of the day, I couldn't help myself buying the blue dial B-1 Red Arrow's 40th anniversary edition! She's a beauty!

My warranty card/box was empty too, but I think Sam (AM's son) said he was going to send out all that stuff this week. I take it you wrote down your details in their book?
