Personally I've never been a fan of the square/rectangular watch bodies.

Of all the B's I own the Flying B is in IMHO the best looking one by far and definitely the one that gets the most compliments.

Even folks that don't know much about watches notice it. No other watch looks like it.

Of course it looks much better in Rose Gold than SS...

Hi All !

Personally, I think that the tonneau style for a timepiece evokes a classic understated elegance and style especially in rose gold. Plus it has a certain art deco feel and look of a bygone era. Just look at some of the Jaeger Le Coultre’s, Cartier’s and the Rolex Prince Watch. The issue with the Flying B is that the dial appears to be too busy due to the color scheme, and/or layout does not appeal to the eye. The Flying B No.3 is simply stunning! Due in my opinion to its simplicity – less is more at times and that is the case with this timepiece.

Best Regards,

Enezdez

Hi All!

Visited today my local Tourneau and they happened to just have a Flying B No.3 in stainless steel - the sales girl stated that the MSRP was over 11K but was able to sell it for a firm $7900 & change - I really wasn't in the position to buy it at any price so I did not haggle.

What makes it worth 11k - It is a stunning/beautiful watch but whats so special about it?

I do not see the value of the watch real or perceived - do you guys do????? If you do please share with me your wisdom ! :)

For that kind of money there are various other watches I would rather own such as a Vacheron Constantin - Overseas or a Jeager Le Coultre Reverso!

Just to name a couple!

Best Regards,

Enezdez
