Just curious what Breitling you guys would recommend for everyday use...I really like the Avenger Skyland, but for everyday use might be too much watch....So I was thinking about the Super Ocean Steelfish...between these 2 any suggestions? Or maybe there is a different model you would recommend. Thanks!!

There really isn't any Breitling you couldn't wear every day. For appearance, something brushed will show less wear than something polished. A rubber strap or steel bracelet will show less wear than a leather or croco strap. Something with a quartz movement will be less susceptible to damage than something with a mechanical movement.

Weight and diameter of the watch may also be a factor. Most people consider a 40mm watch to be small these days but it's more comfortable and lighter than something 45mm.

Your best bet is to head to your local AD and just try on a bunch and see what appeals to you. Everyone has different preferences and while some people may be fine with a Super Avenger every day, others may prefer a Colt Quartz.

Either way, enjoy the process!

I think the aerospace is good and I should know I have owned 3 of em,They are very light and very robust and you hardly know you are wearing it but I also have a Superocean and thats the same,A bit more chunky but still does not feel heavy,I suppose its down to what size you are and your wrist size and what you do as a job etc.

The Steelfish has got my vote. I wear mine almost every day,
and it just seems to fit into any situation I encounter. It's truly
a utilitarian watch, ready to go with you anywhere...a trustworthy
companion you can depend on. :D

Another vote for the Steelfish. Very versatile watch.

Steelfish is my choice, but I'm biased with two of them.

Having owned 3 of them, I'd probably go with the Steelfish too.

Chunky, but still fits under a shirtsleeve. No worries about water resistance, so swimming is fine. Sporty, but dressy at the same time. No chronograph push-pieces to get damaged if you're a little rough with it. It's even half polished and half brushed, so you don't even have to think which finish to get!

It's just a great utilitarian watch.

With all of the recommendations for the Steelfish, I believe Altair has one up for sale in the FS section here.
Maybe two Ling members help eachother out!

I´d say Steelfish too for a non chrono, but you were right on the money with Avenger Skyland for a chrono.

If I could only have one as a every day watch it would certainly have to be the Super Ocean...
