Went looking for a Rolex today, and then my brother pointed me over to the Breitlings. They were much more masculine, and being a rather big guy, they suited me better. I am seriously considering the watch below (from an authorized dealer, not amazon). Has anyone had any experience with this watch? I really like the looks of it, but I don't know much about it. Thanks for any help you could give me.

Flagship of the line... Very dependable movement with the Caliber 13. Excellent watch with a nice masculine size.

Good luck!

Thanks for the info...is there anything I should be aware of as far as what constitutes a fair price? Im assuming if I go to an authorized dealer, that the prices should be on par with all other authorized dealers. Is this a fair assumption? I don't want to buy from anyone on the internet who isn't an authorized dealer for fear of getting scammed. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Would definitely recommend sticking with an AD for piece of mind. The discounts will vary considerably between ADs however. If you are in the US send a PM to jnelson3097 for the contact details of the famous George at Govberg. If you are in the UK then drop a line to alex** and he can hook you up with Andrew Michaels who sponsor the owners club that has a section on BreitlingSource.

Anywhere else and I'm sure a member can hook you up with someone to help.

I have a Chronomat, I love it. This is a wonderful way to start off your collection, and it will only be the beginning of your obsession for sure. It's a good time to buy a watch, good luck.

All list prices will be the same at any AD you visit. The only variable is the amount of discount that you are able to negotiate.
