Today, I went to AD to have my new AS regulated, since it is gaining 20-30 secs a day. I would like to give all of you a little update, since last time I brought up this topic everyone assured me, that my warranty card is ok.

You can see the warranty card here:

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=8671

The card is stamped through, the serial number is matching the watch and the date of purchase is filled in. However, there is no signature and stamp of the AD that sold the watch.

To my surprise, the AD refused to honor warranty, since they claim, the dealer that sold the watch failed to add stamp and signature to the warranty card and is therefore invalid. Because of that the warranty card is useless, and I have to pay for regulation of the watch in full. I will not have the watch back until Friday, so if they find out there is more to it, I will probably have to pay the full cost of service.

Maybe some ADs honor warranty cards that are not completely filled in, but unfortunatelly not all of them. Please let me know your experience.

After all this bad experience with buying online (the watch was also missing COSC certificate and manual when it came in), the AD is the only way to go for me in the future..

I think you need to find another AD!!!

They may be technically correct, but I'm also sure that they have sold the occasional watch where they forgot the stamp - it's human nature to make a mistake occasionally.

Sounds like they are being extremely inflexible.
