...and he never got the second chance! I was waiting

Since selling off my Breitlings I felt just a touch regretfull, so the hunt started for something else that started with "B", that was big and beautiful.

I saw pictures of a Montbrilliant Legende in steel and rose gold with a black dial and I was more than little smitten. A little unsure of just how "rose" the gold was and BUK assured me it was the deep red I was looking for, as did the nearest dealer who was 100 miles away. More than a little miffed to find it was "good 'ol wedding ring gold"
None-the-less, size wise, the watch suited me and I decided a Black dialled steel version would do nicely.

Good deals; no, bloody great deals where on offer for the steel version from two AD's - £1.2k off current list and I very nearly pillaged the wallet to buy it, until I found one for sale privately at what seemed to be a give-away price. Originally supplied from an Italian AD to a well known watch dealer in UK, it ended up with the current seller.

The Italian distributor for B was more than helpful, confirming its authenticity, who sold it and when - felt confident I was buying a proper one! Still has 8 months warranty which gives a comforting blanket of security.

Really pleased with it - it's big at 47mm and not too tall either. 24mm integral bracelet is beautifully crafted. Lovely rose gold (proper rose gold!) hands contrast superbly with the black dial and the red "circle" gives a nice splash of colour.
Despite it's size it wears very comfortably and with no discernable blemishes it doesn't look as though it's been worn much either.

IMO one of the less-busy looking of the Navi' range; no third registar in a contrasting colour, the dial isn't over cluttered and it's easy to read...love it!

A few hastily and poorly snapped images - dust and fingerprints...sorry!

Happy? You bet! :D

Thanks for your comments guy's :)

The love is still strong despite its only shortcoming...no quick-set date! PIA all this winding between 8 and 2 to get the date rolled over.
Still, the watch is so lovely I'm forgiving it!
