In my personal opinion, it is a great watch. I am a big fan, and the example you posted is one of my Breitlings, and has been in the weekly rotation for over two years. It holds up well, is built to withstand the obvious dings that come with an everyday wearer, and has a certain cache' due to the opposable crown. If you like it, my suggestion is to try one out in person.

Heck with your endless watch boxes and rows of Breitling porn, how could she possibly spot a new one or five in the mix?

Ahhh, Mario, you've figured one of my techniques! Hide in plain sight!
Of course, two can and do play that game...

"Honey, how long have you had that diamond?"
'Sweetie, remember, you bought that for me last Christmas!'
"Oh."

It's all about sweet deception...Just like when she tells me I'm still handsome....(Spend twenty years with someone, and see how it all works!)

You can't beat active camouflage 8)

As long as she isn't snapping and dating polaroids you should be just fine ;)

I purchased a Chrono-matic about 3 months ago. I got the black face with the brown croc /w fold-over. I also sprung for the bracelet as well. I have really loved it! I originally was going to get a Chronomat with the white face, but decided to go for the Chrono-matic while I still could get it. I didn't like the Chrono-matic 49. Glad I did, now I am hoping the Chronomat is offered with the B01. Anyway, only one complaint. Occasionally (once every two months) I will look down and the watch is off by 40 min. or so. I am probably going to send it in while it is still under warranty.
