HELLO MEMBERS!
I JUST WANT TO ASK IF I CAN I USE THE OCEAN RACER STRAP DEPLOYANT BUCKLE TO FIT A LEATHER BAND FOR EXAMPLE?
I REALLY LIKE THE ORS BUCKLE AND I THING IT CAN LOOK GREAT WITH A CROCO BAND.
ANY EXPERIENCES?
REGARDS,

REGARDS,

You can use it with leather, but you'd need to have a strap specially made by someone like ABP to fit. The OR clasp doesn't allow much adjustment so the strap has to be the right length to fit. Fine if it's rubber as you can just cut a bit off : no good with leather as it is stitched and sealed. The only option is to have one made at exactly the right length.

I can't add much more to the topic, other than what has already been said. I got an OR for my Steelfish, then put it on my Seawolf, and it looks great on both of them. It is also very comfortable. If Breitling came out with leather to fit the clasp, I would be on that right away. I like it a lot better than the deployant, which is specially made for the leather straps.
Cheers,
Carl

Over 8". When I had mine, I think I estimated something around 8.5".

I have an 8" wrist and had to trim my OR to fit. 8.5 sounds about right.
