This is a disease!!....here is the scenario:-

was at a jewellers with the mrs today, its her birthday and our anniversary (16 yrs......elligible for parole soon!)

Anyway, she ended up with a bloody expensive eternity ring and earings so while she was in a charitable mood, I thought I'd look at a few watches,.....oh dear!

anyway, tried a few pateks, rolexes etc and nearly, very nearly, bought a milgauss but then I caught sight of a brown SO heritage on rubber....while I loved the watch, the colour didn't do it for me and SWMBO preferred blue, only problem is they only had black in 46mm plain and chrono on a mesh band and they were held for other customers.

so, rather than compromise, I've ordered up a blue 46 on mesh and a blue SOchrono Heritage on mesh to choose between them, currently favouring the non-chrono but we will see!.....also confirmed my name on the wait list for a jumbo aquanaut in steel but lord knows when that will be available........hopefully I'll have some dosh to spare when it eventually comes in but the dealer (whom I know and trust) claim they only get on average one large Aquanauht every 18 months or so, despite being big Patek dealers. we will see

anyway./....going to be adding a blue SO heritage or Heritage chrono soon....phew....sorry for the long post.

Nicely done! Either way you go with the decision, it'll be the right one as there isn't a wrong ;)

Good choice, I had a bronze SOH it was one of those it will grow on me deals, it never did. Traded it for a Black. I really like the blue too, if I have the money some day......

Don't apologize - we always like to hear these kind of stories!
Cheers,

Good to see you back, Doc.

The blue SOH has grown on me massively, unlike the bronze. Good call. Look forward to some pics.

Nick

Doctor D,

Good to hear from you again. It was you who inspired me to join
this forum -- then you mysteriously disappeared. :? Rumor has it that
you were seduced away from us by the sweet song of the Patek
Phillipe siren. That's understandable. And judging from your hunger
for a jumbo Aquanaut, it seems the song is still playing. Anyway,
welcome back.

Steve
