Whats the difference between the Chronomat and the Chronomat Evolution? Or are they the same thing? I've been on this forum reading stuff and it always says people have the EVOLUTION, but on the Breitling website, it only shows the Chronomat! I'm confused, can someone clear things up for me??

Thanks,
cRaSiAn1030

I believe that they are the same and Breitling has just altered the name. If this is worng, I'm sure one of the resident experts will clarify.

Old Chronomat = Chronomat
Chonomat Evolution = New Chronomat = Chronomat

It's that simple

The original Chronomat was a little smaller and the new Evolution (that is now called just Chronomat, they dropped the Evo part) has screw locked pushers for the stop watch function. As far as price $5840 MSRP US for the stainless models on the pilot bracelet.

I couldnt help but see your frustration in wanting vs affording a Breitling. I would suggest setting your sights a little lower (in models not quality) and look at the Steelfish. One of these could be purchased NEW at a AD for under $1800 US on a Diver Pro strap and they are nothing to shake a stick at. I should know, I have two (am am wearing one right now) and at the right price I would by another in blue to have one of each. Great watch.
