On the chrono subdials, there are two different hand styles. Wouldn't it make sense if the two subdials for chrono functions shared the same hand style, and the running seconds then had the different hand style? In other words, the 9 and 3 subdial should swap hands.

Small detail, but thought I would point it out and also demonstrate that I think way too much about this stuff.

It's a common feature on chronos - not just modern watches, and not just Breitlings. I guess it's to help differentiate between the minutes and hours (neither of which move constantly) for the chronograph. Never seen an 'official' explanation.

I see this two different ways...One as Mark said make the running one different and as Roff said to differentiate between the two both sides make sense but I noticed this too JUST YESTERDAY! haha

Maybe if the arrow hand on the 9 O'Clock subdial was on the lower 6 O'clock subdial, it might look more balanced...this way the 9 and 3 subdial had the same hands on them. Just a thought...Not that I'd ever noticed they were different!
