Now Im not sure if we have or if we haven't here at breitlingsource.com but I was wondering has Roff ever posted a pic of his complete collection? I want to see it if so, and if not get on it Roff number one on your list of to do's this weekend

Yeah, Roff has this thing where he never reveals his entire collection, so I guess we just need to respect that.

Personally I think it's because if his wife saw the whole collection out for photography purposes (or even just the pictures), the words, "Oh so that's where our new house fund went!" would spring forth from her lips! I also imagine Roff has little safe boxes in banks all over canada, each with a few watches in, so I guess they'd take a long time to collect!

So in the interest of marital harmony, we'll let you off Roff!

I don't list my complete collection - it's just something that I'm not comfortable doing - I know I'm weird.

That said, I have posted about a lot of acquisitions since I joined here so the forums know that I have:

Cockpit
DB Cosmonaute
Avenger Skyland Blacksteel

You also know generically that I have some vintage pieces.

My reluctance to acknowledge some of te pieces that I acquire dates from when I was trying to build my vintage collection - I didn't want to be known as a collector when I bought items because I didn't want to pay more than I had to - for example if a member knew that I was bidding on an 806 when they were looking for one, well I probably would end up paying more to secure it.

I am also a business owner with a company website, and I regularly publish articles on a project management website, so it's fairly easy to find information out on me - sometimes it's nice to at least keep some aspect of my life private.

Makes complete sense just like busting your chops every now and again!! I agree though I wouldnt either if my collection were as valuable as yours. But mine can barely be called a collection so I guess I need to post a few

Well price is always part of it. The 29 is an amazing watch, but I can get cheaper perpetuals and cheaper precious metals. At the end of the day you have to balance not just the $, but what else you can do with those $.
