Greetings all...

I have a black non-SQ Emergency on the way to me.
It's been recently fully serviced and battery change etc.

My question is...

Since it's a non-SQ version - would BUSA change the movement to SQ during a service (now that the non-SQ versions are no longer supported)?

You can ask them to (I think they would likely agree), but they won't do it automatically as the movement is not yet obsolete.

Not sure what you mean about the non SQ versions not being supported - the only quartz movements that Breitling can no longer service / repair are pre 1985.

Over here in Europe they definately will not change the movement during a service. They still support this movement and will keep doing so for a long time. On your demand it is possible they change it but expect a very large bill to come your way if you decide to do so.

Thanks,
I think it will stay non-SQ for now...
