Lol, don't feel used. I was serious about my question. Then I got a pm from a guy with a super avenger 2 diamond that I wanted. And figured I'd sell this one and buy that one.

I think you missed out the part where you deleted your post telling the forum how much (less than your asking price) you paid. Presumably to prevent everyone on the forum feeling "used".

because like everyone else I want to sell it for as much as I can. So you can sleep better at tonight:

Watch $5,000
Tax. $ 407.50
Extra 2 year warranty $499

$5906.50

Asking price $6200.

That should clear up and confusion.

Give me a break, it is worth whatever someone will pay for it. Doubt he will get full retail plus warranty and tax but who cares if he does. Everything is worth whatever someone will pay for it.

I agree!. I've sold a few watches that I have made a nice little profit on. That doesn't mean the buyers were used. They felt comfortable paying my asking price and that's what matters. Honestly, let him charge whatever he wants. I don't think he needs to explain himself to anyone.

I could care less for what people end up selling watches for, but it's a little different of a situation when you make it public what you paid for it and ask for everyone's opinions on how rare it is only to then list it for sale. In the end, if you make money on a sale, that's great but I wouldn't be advertising what you actually spent on the watch.

Though apparently that's not stopping him from trying and making a sizable profit.

Amazing, you join the forum because you spent $5000.00 on a watch that you knew nothing about, (I only wish that I could be in a position to do that), you ask for help and you receive advice from veteran forum members who took time to answer your questions. Now that some have broken your shoes about your decision to flip it all of a sudden everyone is a cry baby. It didn't seem like they were cry babies when they did your research for you!! :guns: I wish you the best of luck in you sale, I personally don't think that you will recoup your expenses because private sellers don't collect sales tax, most informed watch buyers are not going to pay for a second party warranty when the warrantor won't have access to parts and finally, the resale market for Breitling watches is extremely poor. However, you may get lucky and find another uninformed individual who will part with $6000 because they just have to have it! :poke:
