The title says it all. I've noticed over the years Breitling doesn't put the model name on the dial of most of their watches. The chronomat comes to mind, avenger, sea wolf, etc. Any knowledge to this? Just trying to educate myself.

No different to most other brands, just a design thing.

Joking aside, it just occurred to me that I'm glad Breitling doesn't do that in the case of some of their sillier named models. For instance, the Galactic 44 is, for all intents and purposes, a revamped Headwind. They just called it a Galactic because they did away with the Windrider range and didn't know what else to call it. I honestly try to forget the name and just appreciate it as a great watch. If I had to see "Galactic" staring back at me every time I glanced at my wrist, that might have prevented me from buying one. Seriously.
