I just checked my A78 B1 against the atomic clock app on my phone and found the B1 to be an astounding 4 seconds slow. It is astounding because I have not reset it in over two years! The last time that I touched it was at the Greenwich observatory while on vacation; synched it to the atomic clock in the observatory museum [about 2 months after a BUSA service] and am floored to find that it has drifted so little in about 28 months...have been tempted by a B50 despite all of the issues that they seem to have but I doubt that the time keeping will beat the B1.

I recently bought one from a forum member and like you, have not had any need to adjust the seconds in the 6 weeks that I've had it. Mine is the older A68 movement so I did expect some drift but none so far.

I have the older A68 movement also, last serviced in 2012 and maintaining a very respectable +/- 0! Bloody good watch I must say.

Gotta love the SQ movement. I have an Airwolf LE and Emergency SQ. always on top!
