It appears that this watch was listed on the bay for a very attractive price, when I saw it the only thing that seems out of line was the type of box that it came with. The warranty was dated 2010 at which time I thought Breitling was using larger sized black bakelite boxes whereas the box that appeared with the watch looked like something that was used in the late 90's!

I'm no expert on what boxes were used when but of course there is some variation due to dealer stock / practice: that is, the watches are despatched to dealers in simple plastic cases but when sold are put into whichever boxes the AD has stockpiled.

But yes, I suppose a private seller may swap boxes about in order to keep a preferred one.
