Well, just picked up a TO 1461 in both silver and black, former on brown croc and latter on black croc, stainless cases. I'll post pics when they arrive.

I wasn't initially keen on the black face model but it grew on me the more I tried it on. This was about a 15 month deliberation....but I finally got there, much to my (and my AD's) pleasure.

The silver is quite possibly the most incredible 'dress' watch I own, and vies with my Navitimer Legende LE for best in my collection.

For the price, the pair were a screaming bargain relative to comparable non-B 1461 designs....even without the 'in house' movement.

Very nice! What other Breitling models were you considering?

I think the 1461 is stunning, and very much want to get one. However, I'm also drawn to the in-house movements and exposed backs of the 1915 and TO chrono. They are all more or less in the same price range.
