To the delight of many I don't post much anymore but I did vote for my all time favorite Breitling.

Good to see that you are still around Sergio!

I think that the final was a bit of a foregone conclusion had some impact on voting, but that doesn't explain the dramatic drop off in all of the other matchups relative to last year. I suspect that the general one may see more activity because it is 'new', but Driver8 is right, at this engagement level it's just not worth doing every year.

I must admit I kept on voting as long as there were interesting watches in the race, but i did not vote when neither watch stirred interest so at some point i stopped voting at all.

Yeah, I missed the finals too.

It was funny/frustrating to me, though, that every time I voted, I was in the minority or which watch I preferred. Some of my favorite watches where the ones that were the most voted against, too. :( Such is the world. Everybody has different taste.

Even though the ones I personally wear or want to wear most got knocked out early, for some reason I latched on early to the Cossie, the 769, and the big date Blackbird. They actually went a lot further than I thought. Always interesting how tastes or voter makeup evolves.

Why don't you post any more Sergio? Good to see you back and voting.

A turn-out of 35 votes is a let down, but the effort for the competition was made and appreciated. Thanks Roff!

I think what makes this one of the best watch websites is that people are respectful, can give & take some teasing, care about watches and the Breitling brand, new ideas are tried, learning is encouraged and no question is too dumb to ask. I think it's great that another general watch competition is going to get off the ground soon; again, thanks Roff!
