Welcome to BreitlingSource.

Breitling produces literally hundreds of LEs every year so without knowing who commissioned it or why there's probably not much we can tell you. Other than the logo the watch will be a standard SuperOcean. Do you have pictures?

Hello again people.. And special thanks again to Roff...

I have opened my eyes somewhat and compared my watch to others of the same model A17390...

And have now established ... It is obviously limited edition of 30,,, but on the back it states SO1 specialist protection,, apparently that stands for specialist operations, who are part of the metropolitan police.. And SO1 offer protection to the British prime minister and other ambassadors and other high profile persons considered to be under threat from terrorist attack....
Of which it makes me rather happy with my purchase, just a little out of the ordinary makes it that much more special to me....
Not sure if this would add somewhat to the watches resale value, if I ever decide to move it on..

I think Bremont do the same sort of LE arrangement with security services in the UK and elsewhere. The Met, Paras, etc. Its a great idea.

Generally speaking logo editions have little impact on value, sometimes a slightly negative impact. The logo generally reduces the mass market appeal of the watch so unless you find a buyer who particularly associates with the logo it's not going to help.

I thought I would add to this post, as I am intrigued to see a mi5 super ocean steel fish limited edition for sale on eBay ... Still on there now... Bids up £3,000.
I will keep an eye on that one to find out the final winning price....

Well come on - Mi5. People know what that means. I would pay significantly less for a SO with a rose and crown on the dial.
