My AD said that they have reduced the thickness on the A2 and it wears a lot nicer now. I am considering getting one (black dial batons on DPIII) instead of the Aerospace Evo which I'm losing interest in after seeing some real life photos of.

Bit of a departure for Breitling today, an e-mail that is more than simply a new model introduction, rather a positioning of the entire range of reworked Avengers.

Looking past the usual silly Breitling hyperbole, if this is the start of trying to clarify range positions in the marketplace then I am a big fan. The wording, not so much......

At least they're not saying "since 1884" ;-) Looking forward to seeing the new pieces in the metal.

It's been said but... I like the bezel: works for me. I also like the size. Looking good.

If you get any specific info. on the thickness and lug length, please let us know. I also like the black dial baton with matching black sub-dials in the Avenger II chrono. In the GMT version, the stencil arabic model looks nice!

Also, just got a call from my AD; my Avenger GMT is in! However, it is POLISHED. :? I prefer brushed and was hoping it was brushed like the previous Seawolf. I will have to make a trip to see it in person.....

Quick! Measure it!

how is the SA 2 any different from the first one?

crap, just looked. so they changed the numbers on the bezel? looks ok.

im more upset about the dial color options. the only solid color dial is black. the rest have diff color chrono dials. i have never liked the non matching dials on the super avenger....

is the movt, and everything else the same as the older one?

Bezel is different and dials are a little different, baton has lume in between the batons and the number dials are a little different looking, also they eliminated some of the previous dial colors and added a silver dial. There is 4 dial choices in total where as there used to be 6. Baton is now available in black, blue and silver and number dial in black only. And looks like they are not available with croc bands anymore as an option, but to can get those easy enough.

You will have to get the all silver dial option, can't wait to see it in person because I don't think the picture on there site looks to silver, it looks more like off white to light yellow

That color rendition on the site is awkward indeed...
