A year ago I bought a TransOcean Chronograph with in-house 01 movement. It is a Limited Edition in stainless steel with leather strap and deployant clasp. On the side of the case mine has the figure "xxxx/2000" etched. My understanding is that the total run of Limited Edition TransOceans was 2000. Can anyone tell me how many of my particular Limited Editions were made, i.e. the stainless steel with black face and silver sub-dial model. I have never seen another one like it in my world travels and visits to numerous Breitling A/D's, and none of them have been able to tell me how many of these were made. In other words, do I have a limited edition of the Limited Edition?! Thanks to anyone who can root out the answer.

Well, you have a variety of the limited edition, yes. I think the only way you'd get an answer is via Breitling HQ or perhaps a national distributor (BUSA, BUK etc).

There were 2,000 SS and 200 RG, probably safe to assume 1,000 of each of the two SS dial options but as said, only Breitling would know for sure.

As Roff said, fairly safe assumption that it was a 50-50 split.
