I know the code on the case is the production date but was does the full code mean ?

I have 0407 B5 on mine.

0407 means week 4 of 2007.

The B5 may represent the 9th and 10th digits of the full reference number. B means a black dial but I have never worked out a pattern for the numbers.

I don't think there's ever been a survey as to what codes members here have on their watches so I could be completely wrong!
