I just got another addition to my collection.

It's a hardback book - about 12 x 9 1/2 x 3/4 inches.

There's a problem however - it's sealed in a plastic foil package.

Anyone know what's inside?

I'm so tempted but am probably being a bit of an anorak by wanting to keep it sealed. A bit like having a Corgi/Dinky toy and not playing with it incase it devalues it!

So - what do you reckon?

Part of me says don't open it. Because I know it's painful for ya and I like to watch people squirm

On the flipside...go ahead and open it. You can always get another one and keep that one sealed.

Yeah come on open it up! If it's killing us to know what's in it, I can only imagine what it's doing to you with it sitting in front of you!

As Arnie said in Predator, "COME ON, DO IT! DO IT" :D

Bugger!

You lot are no help - I just hope that it's not a big anti climax when I get into it!

So here goes:

Well packed

Mmmmmmmmm.......

OK - looks alright on a coffee table!

Image

Ah - lovely

So - lots of familiar images and text but as I said it's the kind of thing you'de have on your coffee table if you had one!

Company history and information - could have been a bit more exciting but nice to have in the collection.

Copyright is 2001 so nothing new I'm afraid.

So - now the search continues for another sealed one - kidding :D

Will do Mario

This is the first and only I've seen in my year of collecting. Some things come up frequently but others just seem to be very scarce. Not that that makes them valuable of course.

You're getting quite a collection together yourself - I've had bags and sold 'em but wanted to keep one for myself - trouble is when they sold well on eBay it was too tempting to do a 2nd chance offer and thus end up selling the one I wanted.

Interested to hear what scheme you're cookin' up with the bags - I saw the big one on eBay (only one I've ever seen) and was tempted. The shipping to the UK was a rip off tho' so didn't bother.

So - what are you up to?

The nice thing about the collecting is that as long as you don't get carried away when bidding on them, you shouldn't lose much money if you ever decided to sell them (not that I would of course).

I'll fill you in on the plans when I get them ironed out ;)
