Yep! I just pushed in the buttons to make a slight micro adjustment and it wouldnt open. Turned my wrist and one of the buttons and a little spring fell out! What a bummer. First my black fish is DOA and now sitting in the safe, now the OR on my white fish is broke! Im affraid to wear the Panerai now!

So will Breitling repair these clasps or are they considered throw away?

Good thing you did not sell the B&R Phantom....sorry could not resist. That really stinks, I love my Pbutton clasp wear my OR strap more than my bracelet on my SF. Bummer :(

For the record I started to send you a message about the Phantom at least 3 different times. Was happy when you pulled it down, made my decision easy.

It should be repairable - just a simple spring I would think. If the actual metal of the clasp is broken though then it's likely a replacement.

Looks like the post of the side button broke off inside (or in half). Hard to tell. Disappointing though. I love this clasp/strap combo for summer time use.

Love my OR as well, had the c clip pop on mine, it got caught in the adjustment, lucky for me. Sadly for me I had to spend an hour looking for my spring though, found it, flattened the clip and put it all back together. Better that it happened in my office than my kitchen, watch didn't fall off like I had another do.

Funny thing is that I am still wearing it as is! I have a Diver Pro I could switch out to, but the Ocean Racer has me spoiled. So it's missing a button and it takes me 5 minutes to get the clasp to release when I want to take it off..... ! :)

Guess I am forced to call my AD and talk to them about it. That stinks because I am still pissed off at them for the attempted super gouge on a Panerai Bronzo. (of course knowing what they are selling for now, the $16k would have been a deal. Just out of my budget).

I think I'll be putting a OR on a PAM for the weekend, the adjustability of the strap is just too nice and it's 110 here all the time so sweat is a factor. The OR is the first strap that didn't bother me. My PAM rubber straps stick or 'drool' down my wrist on hot days.

Can't blame you on the bronzo, I had my eye on one until the price hike and 372 came out.

Anonimo produces some bronze watches @ much lower pricepoints. They're
not Panerais, but I think you're getting high quality & style nevertheless.

Yeah I have tried on several Anonimos and like a couple of their models (expecially the one with the crown on the bottom of the case), BUT your right about "they're not Panerais". The Bronzo was the first watch in a very, very long time that I was prepared to liquidate most of the collection to purchase. But out of the pricipal of the matter, I refused to pay over MSRP. I told my AD (not a Panerai dealer, but with connections) that I agreed to pay full retail, no discount and I "ordered one" the day after they were anounced. When they came out they finally called with "we found one for you but it's $20,000! Not just a couple thousand over but double.

....still sore. I wouldn't have flipped it, I would have worn it.
