Hello i buy a new Breitling B01 chronomat, in the netherlands by a dealer, papers box everthing complete.€ 6200,-
is it possible that the dealer sells the watch to owner 1.
owner 1 takes the watch back in two weeks because he was not satisfied.
And the dealer sells it for the second time (as new?) to new owner 2.(with papers).

Is that possible?
Or, is it possible that the dealer has more as 1 warranty paper (for 1 watch) , so he can sell it two times as new?
It is a official dealer.

Thanks
Sorry for my english.

Anything is possible, what is the cause of your question?

:yeahthat Do you have a reason to think this happened? If not, I'd say you're worrying needlessly. The two-sets-of-papers scenario is unlikely; the COSC certificate is per serial number, so the dealer essentially would have to have a counterfeit set if he were to have more than one. A resell is possible, but only if the dealer didn't register the sale and the warranty the first time. (In the US, ADs typically register the sale with BUSA, which also starts the warranty period. Someone will need to refresh my memory on dealer practices in Europe.) Still, a reputable AD would not do this without telling you. So unless you have a reason to think your AD pulled a fast one, I don't think you need to worry about it. The main thing is, how do you like your Chronomat?

It's hard to say how long the watch was sitting at the dealer's before it was sold to you. Even if it was there for two years, that doesn't inherently mean there was anything unethical going on. I've seen damaged watches at ADs. It's not because they're being resold; rather, it's because they've been tried on by every customer who enters the store. ADs can still sell them as new, and it is up to the customer to determine whether he wants that actual watch, or wants to hold out for a newer item. If those dirty areas on your watch clean up, and there is nothing else wrong with the watch, then you're probably OK. If the areas don't clean up, or if you're just really bothered, then go back to the AD and see what can be done.

What Roff said.

However, that area will get dirty again. Both my Lings did - it's inevitable. To keep it clean, I used a very soft toothbrush and eyeglass cleaner (or just some soapy water) and gently brushed the area, avoiding the crystal. Make sure the crown and pushers are screwed down first.

Since I don't know the list price of your watch in the Netherlands, I can't comment on price. But you've got the watch now, so what's the point in worrying?
