What is the life of battery in a Superquartz model? Of course, the chronographic models will be much less based on usage of that function. :?: [/b][/quote]

I bought my Aerospace new in August 2004.

With reasonable use - occasional alarm, timer, chronograph etc - but with no backlight the battery lasted until November 2007.

So that's 3 years 3 months.

I don't know how long the watch was in the shop prior to my purchase or whether it was running during that time so battery life may vary slightly in different circumstances.

My instructions recommend a regular service every 2 years so I expected the battery to last that long. It lasted longer so I had that service done at over 3 years instead.

I hope that helps.

If you look at the catalog for the 2008 professional models they range from 2 to 4 years.

The Emergency Mission and the Airwolf are listed at 2-3 years battery life. The Emergency, Aerospace and Skyracer etc are listed at 3-4 years. Of course the more you play with it the more it'll draw battery power ;)

What does a battery change involve? A trip to Breitling or can any AD do it?
