It's darker blue in most lighting. I don't think I'd wear it with a brown or green dress shirt, but that's just me. I'm not a blue dial guy, but maybe here it is the smaller dial that makes it work for me. IDK, I just like this particular set up, whatever it is. And I particularly like the absence of screw down pushers!
