Hi guy's, as Roff sugested; back to Sharkman' question! If you simply stop the watch on the 28th for a day as suggested, won't that mean that the moonphase will be off by the time you start your watch..?

Regards David

What the hell WAS my question?

I've had a few moonphase timepieces (JLC, Glashutte, Zenith, Breitling) including the Montbrilliant Olympus with the four year calendar. Getting back to my question, I think I would have run to the manual because the only adjustment I ever used was the moonphase, and that was to get it perfect on the full moon.

We aren't all as dumb, or inexperienced in the world of complications, as some may choose to think.

But it is moot now, a new four year cycle has begun (UNLESS, the Mayans were correct.)

Gees... and I thought the GMT function on a watch was rocket science...

Totally not used to additional functions besides the chronograph...

If pkeung can own one (or two) than you can too

Stick to trying to figure out how a moonphase operates rather than your pathetic attempts to insult people.

I've had 3 Calibre 19's, I'm quite familiar with how the moonphase operates. I've even done an analysis on here about the accuracy of the moonphase, try the search function it works well.

Tom I wish I had the comp 19 today to see it flip through. Oh well.

I just waited until March 1st and adjusted the date. I wasn't wearing it on the 29th. I was wearing the 1903.

Ah sweet joy of joys :D .

My SQ Airwolf just quietly continued like a little dream. I woke up, looked across at my watch and there it was in all of it's resplendent glory - it showed 29.02.12. I just thought 'oh yeah, it's a leap year' and went back to sleep. No fumbling around for manuals or asking others how to correct the date. :cheer: .

Sorry guys - I honestly couldn't help myself :nana: .

Hmmm

Well... :D I was so busy saying no, but thank you, to all the fine ladies asking me to marry them...which in our country, becomes their prerogative, on Feb 29th....that watches became less important.

Ahhhh the sweet silence

Moonphase? :uplaugh:

Might be.

It's like we all just shared a moment. That was special.

Oh, and what a beauty it will be too - however Jerhal, if I am still alive then (let alone still own it), then I will forward it on to you to treasure :D - please get in touch with me then :nutkick: .
