I purchased my Breitling on Feb. 8 and sent the warranty card in the same day. I haven't recieved an email from BUSA and was wondering if they do anything like that. I would hate to have a problem arise only to find out they had no record of my warranty.

Thanks

I bought a watch through eBay, and it came with all of the paperwork minus the registration card. Is there a way that I can register the watch without the card, or do I have to wait until I send it in for it's first service? What does registering get me?

The watch is registered when it's purchased from the AD. When the watch is registered, Breitling sends out a hat.

Am I missing something? If you bought it on eBay then it was a gray market sale. No BUSA registration, no BUSA warranty, no hat.

Not the OP, but the eBay purchaser.

Not all eBay purchases are gray market. I could buy a watch today from an AD, not register it with BUSA, then sell the watch on eBay with all the papers including the registration card (not all ADs send it in on their customer's behalf) and you could buy the watch, send in the registration card in your name, and get more pink boxers :D

Well sure, that COULD happen, but most "new" watches on the bay are from the gray market dealers. But let's get real, it takes about 30 purchases to get the revered boxer shorts.
